Lleyton Keeps Firing On Clay

VIENNA: Lleyton Hewitt maintained his promising claycourt form before next week's French Open with an easy first-round win at the ATP tournament in Poertschach, Austria.

The fourth seed saw off Argentina's Sergio Roitman 6-2, 6-2 and faces Italian qualifier Potito Starace in the second round.

"To get through the match injury free is a start, win or lose," said Hewitt, a semi-finalist at last week's Masters Series event in Hamburg. "I guess a lot of people were ready to write me off after losing in the first round in Rome, but people should know me better."

Meanwhile, the All England Club has confirmed that HawkEye technology will be used at Wimbledon this year.
